About Pauline Leippi

The slightly realistic acrylic paintings of Pauline Leippi are inspired and influenced by her country surroundings. Leippi lives on a farm in Saskatchewan. She loves to capture, on canvas or wood,  many of the farm animals and scenes she sees everyday. She has to venture a bit to find subject matter for her prairie pioneer history pieces, her other topic of great interest. She does manage to get off the farm for a few days every summer to enjoy her parents cottage out on Long Lake, SK, where she finds subjects for her beach, water, boats, fish, birds, sky and sunset paintings. No matter where she gets her inspiration she likes her paintings to all portray an interesting story. She can become immersed in her joy of painting, in solitude, for hours, and works hard to create what pleases her. “Have brush….Will paint.”
